Students may wish to take this option if they want a bespoke curriculum, or need support towards any professional exams or just want a fast-track course to develop proficiency in speaking or in any of the other Arabic sciences.
Ustadha Fatema is a graduate from a renowned Institute in South Africa, where she studied Arabic and Islamic studies. She brings a wealth of experience, having taught children for a number of years. She is an expert in teaching children and really developing a love for the language and passion for learning more. Since graduating from South Africa in 2010 she has since taught at various high profile institutions in the UK and couples this with working at various hospitals as a healthcare assistant. She is known for making classes friendly and engaging by adapting her teaching to suit different learning styles.
Dr Ghada is a Masters graduate in Dentistry from the University of Cairo, however her love for the language has meant she has spent the majority of her working career teaching Arabic in Egypt and the UK. Ustadha is a native Egyptian but spent the majority of her early life in Saudi Arabia. Thus she studied Arabic for a number of years at various institutions in Saudi Arabia. Having spent a few years practicing dentistry, her love of the Arabic language meant she shifted her attention to teaching instead. As a result, she spent 7 years teaching at a very renowned Arabic institute in Egypt, which is known for providing very high quality teaching. Since moving to the UK she has spent a number of years teaching at various high quality institutes, with a particular focus on children.
Ustadh Javid has spent the last 10 years learning the Arabic language. Having studied under various Arabic experts in Egypt and the UK, he brings a passion for sharing what he has learnt. He is a senior student of Ustadh Mahmoud and is undergoing his teacher training programme under Ustadh’s tutelage. Having studied a number of years without a structured curriculum, he sees the benefit of having one so the student can see what he is working towards. As such, he is keen to ensure students at the Arabic College get the most out of their learning and don’t lose sight of the end goal.
Ustadh Mahmoud combines both a love for the Arabic language and a unique passion for teaching! Along with his experience teaching native students in Egypt, he has also taught for a number of years in the United Kingdom. Hence, he knows how both native and non-native students learn. As a native Egyptian from the city of Port Sa’id and having completed his elementary studies, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the Arabic language and Islamic Studies. Post-graduation, he worked in the largest and the leading secondary school in Port Sa’id. His prominence grew very quickly however, due to his unique teaching style and love for the language, for which he was awarded various awards including ‘the most exceptional teacher’.
